Event website for 2013 Women's 19 EHF EURO online

The Danish Handball Federation has created the official event website as the hub for all information relating to the 2013 Women's 19 EHF EURO which will be played from 1 to 11 August 2013 in Denmark.

The event's official website includes, for example, information on venues and cities, tickets and transport, media accreditation as well as event related news and will be regularly updated the more the final tournament approaches.

The next step on the road to Denmark will be the qualification tournaments in May which will decide the remaining 13 teams that will join Denmark, Norway and Russia, the three teams that have already qualified for the final tournament.

The qualification tournaments have been awarded as follows:

• Group 1 with Hungary, Cezch Republic, Israel and Ukraine will be organised by Czech Republic
• Group 2 with France, Portugal, Montenegro and Italy will be organised by France
• Group 3 with Sweden, Germany, Turkey and Finland will be organised by Sweden
• Group 4 with Romania, Poland, Slovenia and Great Britain will be organised by Romania
• Group 5 with Netherlands, Austria, Bulgaria and Armenia will be organised by Austria
• Group 6 with Croatia, Spain, Lithuania and Switzerland will be organised by Croatia
• Group 7 with Slovakia, Iceland, Serbia and Moldova will be organised by Slovakia

The qualification matches will be played in form of tournaments at one venue from Friday, 17 May 2013 to Sunday, 19 May 2013.

All four teams seeded in Group 4 have agreed to play the qualification tournament already from 29 to 31 March 2013 as the original playing dates coincided with the final high school exams in Poland.
