Quarter-finals preview of the Women´s EHF Cup
Six teams will be vying for remaining three semi-finals tickets of the Women´s EHF Cup as the second leg of the quarter-finals will be played over the upcoming weekend. Romania´s HC Zalau are already through to the top four as they eliminated the Spanish champions Grupo Asfi Itxako Navarra in two matches last weekend.

With a more than impressive average of nearly 37 goals per game Holstebro are clear favourites of the Scandinavian derby. Only the previous winners of the EHF Cup Lada Togliatti managed to keep the Danish team under 30 goals in the first leg of the Last 16 round. The task seems to be quite easy for the 2011 EHF Cup finalists as they take seven goal cushion to Norway.

Anything else but a smooth promotion of Midtjylland to the semi-finals would be a huge surprise after the Danish league leaders crushed the Russian side by 18 goals at home last weekend.

The French team dreams about their fifth breakthrough to the top four of an European cup competition, but if that should come true, they have to overcome a seven-goal deficit from Russia.
They need to improve their shooting efficiency desperately since none of Metz players scored more than four goals in the first leg.
