Thierry Omeyer´s book on sale now

If there was anything left what could Thierry Omeyer still dream about in his illustrious career, it must have been his own sport biography. One of the brightest stars of the international handball courts has now accomplished even this objective as a new book “Thierry Omeyer” has been released this week.

The biography of two–time Olympic , three-time World, two-time European champion, four-time winner of the EHF Champions League and five-time national champion of Germany and France is far away from a mere enumeration of successes of the handball legend nicknamed “Titi”. On the contrary, it brings interesting facts, stories and plots from scenario of Omeyer´s life between posts.

He recalls his first years on the court, his journey from Selestat through Montpellier to Kiel, but also reveals some useful hints and tricks in the six-metres zone for his followers.

The new book has been written and composed in French and German by Omeyer´s former teammate from the national team and current TV commentator François-Xavier Houlet in cooperation with a then-goalkeeper, now-artist Christophe Lassaut.

Omeyer is not the only story-teller on 180 pages of his biography as plethora of coaching or playing legends, his teammates and also rivals contributed to this remarkable puzzle with their views and comments. Forewords written by two great names of world of handball Claude Onesta and Heiner Brand speak for all others.
