Title is not decided yet, players agree

Even though Győri Audi ETO won the first leg of the Women's EHF Champions League 24:21 away against Larvik HK Sunday, and although Győr have now defeated Larvik three times in succession this Champions League season, they final tie is not decided yet.
Players from both team agreed on that in their statements after the match in the Arena Larvik.

Larvik right winger Kristina Bille to ehfCL.com:
“Györ defeated us because they were the better team today. We had particularly large scoring problems in the second half, especially in the last quarter of an hour, and they were good at punishing us for that.

“I still believe we have the chance to take the over all win, though. We can play better than we did today, and even though we have lost to Györ three times out of three this season, we still believe in our chance. You cannot enter the court for a final and just lie down.”

Larvik goalkeeper Cecilie Leganger to Norwegian TV2:
“I have the feeling that Györ played us very cleverly. They are patient, while we try the opposite, particularly when we are lying behind. Furthermore, we are too inefficient in front of their goal.”

Győr's Norwegian line player Heidi Løke to Norwegian TV2:
“There is still one match left. We have only played the first half, so to speak, and thus there is still one half left in Hungary. However, I am content with the way we win this match, and the way in which we come back from being four goals down. That goes to prove our mental strength.”

Norwegian goalkeeper of Győr Katrine Lune Haraldsen to Norwegian newspaper VG:
“I think it went very well today. I got the shots where I wanted them. I think we proved that we are a little better. We have slightly better and slightly more players.”
