Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Croatia and Slovakia are the teams that prevailed in six qualification tournaments which were played from 17 to 19 May in six countries across Europe.
Denmark as the organisers and second ranked nation at the 2011 Women's 17 European Championship had already qualified.
Russia as the first ranked nation at the 2011 Women's 17 European Championship and Norway as the third ranked nation at the 2011 Women's 17 European Championship had also already qualified for the 16-nation final tournament.
Romania and Slovenia sealed their berths in the group 4 qualification tournament which was already played in March 2013.
Over the course of the qualification weekend from 17 to 19 May, Hungary, France, Sweden, Netherlands and Spain showed the most confident performances with each team winning the maximum of three from three matches in their respective groups.
