VIDEO REPORT: In beach handball when both teams have won one half each, the result is decided by shoot-out, which is one of the sport's big features. But how does the shoot-out work? Watch and learn.
Shoot-out rules explained
When beach handball matches go down to the wire, meaning that both teams have won one half each, a shoot-out has to decide the final outcome.
The shoot-out is vaguely similar to a penalty in ice hockey, with each team having five attempts and one player trying to rifle the ball past the goalkeeper.
The EHF Video Team at the 2013 European Beach Handball Championships talked to Norway about the ins and out and the strategy behind this vital part of the game.
