Venue for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 is the most visited major arena in Germany so far this year
LANXESS arena: No. 1 in Germany
Home of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 since 2010, the Cologne’s LANXESS arena is the number one most visited arena in Germany according to the latest edition of Stadionwelt INSIDE.
The LANXESS arena attracted more than 840,000 visitors in the first half of 2013 thanks to major international sports events such as the VELUX EHF FINAL4 and more than 55 concerts and shows.
Other major handball arenas in Germany also main it to the ranking of the top ten arenas in the country.
The ‘Foxes’s Liar’ – o2 World in Berlin – home to VELUX EHF Champions League team, Füchse Berlin, attracted 677,000 visitors in second place.
o2 World in Hamburg, the home of HSV Hamburg, was in third place with 616,000 visitors. Rhein Neckar Löwen’s home venue was in fourth place in the ranking.
