Defending winners meet Odense in the Last 16

Defending champions Hypo Niederösterreich will play the Danish team HC Odense in their campaign for the second Cup Winners' Cup trophy in as many years after the Tuesday's draw at the EHF Office in Vienna defined all eight Last 16 pairings.

The first leg matches will be played 1/2 February 2014, the second leg will follow next week.

Four-time EHF Champions League winners finished third in their group of the European top flight's group matches for the second year in a row and can continue their continental adventure in the Cup Winners' Cup like other three third-ranked teams.

France's Metz Handball have to prepare for a trip to Russia, where they will face the 2008 EHF Champions League winners Zvezda Zvenigorod, Hungary's FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria will play against Norway's Tertnes Bergen, while Russia's Rostov-Don is the next hurdle for another former EHF Champions League winners RK Podravka.

A big Danish derby await three-time EHF Champions League winners Viborg HK and the reigning EHF Cup winners Team Tvis Holstebro.
