The first time is always difficult

Hi there, hello handball fans!

I have to admit that I am still feeling emotional and I am very happy to have reached the Women's EHF FINAL4. Just to remind you, in the “group of death” with Györi Audi ETO, Krim Mercator and Larvik, we did not experience a defeat.

It's a great thing to have this event for the first time in the competition’s history and I can say that it will be a big challenge to play two very important games in only two days.

You simply cannot make any mistakes as there is no time to correct them. Now everything is different, much harder, but it is what it is.

We have a very young team, but a team with plenty of experience on the court.

That’s the result of hard work, our big effort and sacrifice. First of all, I would emphasise the good atmosphere in the team and good interpersonal relationships. I believe that our quality and strength lie in a good and healthy collective, but also in our strong defence.

This year for the first time we train with music, especially when training is hard. Music motivates us and gives us greater strength and will.

We players choose a music playlist and with the many foreign players in our team, the playlist contains predominantly foreign hits

Our supporters have really helped us this season, particularly those most ardent, the so called “Barbarians”.

I think they are the best. They have always been a great support to us and gave us strength when we need it the most. I'm sure we will see them in Budapest.

The crucial thing at Women's EHF FINAL4 will be playing well as a team and having a solid defence. The team most able to do so will win the trophy.

I expect a very tough match in the semi-final against Vardar. They are a very good and high quality team, but I think it will all depend solely on us and our attitude to the game.

We will have stop our Montenegro teammates from Vardar - Joka (Jovanka Radicevic), Siki (Ana Djokic) and Andrea (Klikovac). We will not let them breathe and to think about what to do.

Joking aside, Vardar has a large number of quality players who should be taken seriously and treated properly.

Now, we've got a lot of work do to before Women's EHF FINAL4. I believe that we will prepare well, physically and tactically. We have plenty of time to do so and I infinitely believe in my team.

I promise to all the fans that will be in Budapest this May can expect a real handball spectacle. Which team you will support?
