22 junior teams vie for World Championship qualification

From Thursday to Sunday 22 European teams participate in the qualification for the Women's 20 World Championship and vie for the ten remaining spots that are available to European teams at the 24-nation event which takes place from 29 June to 13 July 2014 in Croatia.

Croatia as hosts, Russia and Hungary as first and second at the Women's 19 EHF EURO and Denmark as the reigning Women's 18 world champions are already qualified.

Back at the draw in October 2013 the teams were drawn into four groups of four teams each and two groups of three teams each.

From Groups 1 to 4 the top two ranked teams qualify, from Groups 5 to 6 only the first ranked team qualifies.
