America's got handball

It is arguably fair to say that handball is a bit of a niche in the USA, with sports such as American Football, basketball and hockey taking by far the biggest piece of the 'attention cake'.

However, the past weekend the MVM EHF FINAL4 in Budapest took centre stage and was - at least for a moment - level with the big guns of American sports.

The prestigious US sports magazine, Sports Illustrated, had two photographers, David Bergman and Joachim Schuetz, covering the event on 3 and 4 May in the Hungarian capital's Papp Laszlo Sportarena.

Their photos made it to the SI website, into a gallery and two of them even into a 'picture of the week' section, giving the magazine's fans - the weekly print edition is read by nearly 20 million people - a glimpse of the MVM EHF FINAL4 action.
