Five great years with the VELUX EHF FINAL4
This VELUX EHF FINAL4 weekend we celebrate an anniversary. This is the fifth time that the VELUX Group sponsors the VELUX EHF FINAL4. In each event this has brought a catalogue of exciting activities and competitions for the fans − and this year will be no exception.
Since the introduction of the VELUX Group as the new title sponsor of the VELUX EHF Champions League in 2010, the company, famous for its roof windows, has strived to bring even more excitement, passion and joy to the VELUX EHF FINAL4 experience.

For the last couple of years, the VELUX Group has set out to do even more for the large number of VELUX EHF Champions League fans by awarding special prizes to fan clubs – and, most recently, by arranging a unique training day for three European youth teams with one of the greats in men’s handball, Lars Christiansen.
VELUX EHF Champions League fans − among the most passionate
We caught up with Michael Rasmussen, Senior Vice President Brand, Marketing and Communications for the VELUX Group, and asked him which activity he remembers the most.
“If I had to name one specific activity, it would have to be when we made it possible for handball fans from all over Europe to vote for their favourite team and win €3,000 for its official fan club.
"More than 20,000 votes were given and club fans promoted the competition on all platforms to make sure their team got the most support,” says Michael K. Rasmussen and continues: “It was at this point we realised that the fans of the VELUX EHF Champions League are among the most passionate fans you can find.”
Even more to come this year
As usual, the VELUX Group is at the heart of things at the VELUX EHF FINAL4, with more exciting activities for the fans. At the VELUX Dream Box, you can share your dream with others − and, if you’re lucky, the title sponsor will make it come true.
Outside the arena, you can compete against the VELUX Robokeeper, run into Lars Christiansen, and get your face painted in the colours of your favourite team.
At the VELUX Photo Generator, you can also have your face superimposed on your favourite team photo and become part of that team − and help its official fan club win €3,000 for fan activities.

According to Kasper Sindt, Head of Sponsoring and Events at the VELUX Group, this year’s VELUX EHF FINAL4 promises to be an excellent event yet again.
“The VELUX EHF FINAL4 event just keeps getting bigger, better and more exciting every time – and this year it looks like being a humdinger of an event for the fans. We have certainly done all we can to make sure of this,” explains Kasper Sindt.
