Lucky winnner of brand new Ford Fiesta found

Over the whole week-end, handball fans at the VELUX EHF FINAL4 had the opportunity to buy tickets for the German Cancer Aid lottery. Over 20,000 tickets have been sold but only one lucky winner could win the brand new Ford Fiesta Ambiente worth 11,000 euros.

The lucky winner was the number 09472.Thea Arras (50) from Brombachtal could not believe her luck when Arne Elovsson, Vice-President of the European Handball Federation, drew her ticket number.

“At first, I was just totally surprised, I thought to myself – this cannot be true. I actually still can’t believe it.” And since Thea actually has a driving licence, she is looking forward to having a lot of fun with her new Ford Fiesta.

However, the car was not the only price that lottery participants could win. Among other gifts, fans could win a VIP box for the Kylie Minogue concert at the LANXESS arena (n°17769)  and two VIP tickets for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2015 (n°16103).
