NEWS REPORT: Broadcaster adds coverage of the EHF Cup Finals in Berlin to its extensive coverage of European top men’s club competitions for viewers in Germany and Austria.
EHF Cup Finals live on Sky Deutschland
The German broadcaster, Sky Deutschland, has confirmed that it is to broadcast the final weekend of the Men’s EHF Cup live and exclusively in its German-speaking markets.
The EHF Cup Finals will be played in Berlin on 16 and 17 May 2015. With semi-finals to be played on Saturday, the match for third place and the final on Sunday.
Two German Bundesliga teams will be playing in the final weekend, hosts Füchse Berlin and 2013 VELUX EHF Champions League winners HSV Hamburg.
Joining them in the four-team event that was won last year by Hungarian side, Pick Szeged, will be Rk Gorenje Velenje from Slovenia and Skjern Handbold from Denmark.
Sky will be reporting live from the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin and showing all four matches live.
Throw-off times on both days are 14:30 hrs and 17:30 hrs (CET).
The event will serve as a warm-up for the big culmination of the season, the VELUX EHF FINAL4 on the weekend 30/31 May 2015, which handball fans in Germany and Austria can also follow live on Sky Deutschland.
