Play for Change and EHF team up to help Nepal earthquake victims

In the wake, the European Handball Federation has teamed up with its charity partner Play for Change to call for donations to help Nepalese children and to support the rebuilding communities that were destroyed.

At 2015 MVM EHF FINAL4 spectators can purchase Play for Change wristbands as well as donate money to show their support. Several teams with vendor’s trays will be roaming around in the arena’s spectator areas.

"Play for Change are hoping to raise a significant amount in order to continue with our transformational work. We believe in empowering children and young people through education and sports and are committed to helping rebuild the millions of lives in Nepal, for the long term," said Andrea Kenyeres, the Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships for Play for Change.

Play for Change was registered in 2013 with the objective to enhance the lives of children and young people around the world by providing access to sports and education.

The foundation wants to support causes and initiatives that help create better prospects for children and young people from all backgrounds. Since September 2014 Play for Change is the EHF’s charity partner with its logo presented on the shirts of all of the EHF’s 142 top referee pairs in over 1,500 national and club team matches throughout the season.
