Krakow hosts EHF EURO 2016 draw
Following the end of the EHF EURO 2016 Qualification on Sunday, all eyes are now on the final tournament draw which will take place on 19 June at the ICE Congress Centre in Krakow.
The draw will start 14:30 hrs. A live stream will be available at the official event website www.ehf-euro.com.
Besides organisers Poland, these 15 teams have qualified for the EHF EURO 2016: Belarus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden.
They have been seeded in the following pots.
Pot 1: France, Denmark, Spain, Croatia
Pot 2: Iceland, Poland, Sweden, Hungary
Pot 3: Russia, FYR Macedonia, Germany, Belarus
Pot 4: Serbia, Norway, Slovenia, Montenegro
Pots 1 and 2 contain the first ranked teams from the qualification and the Polish hosts; Pots 3 and 4 contain the second ranked teams from the qualification as well as Montenegro who were the best third ranked team.
Ahead of the draw the organisers were allowed to place one team per group, hence the current table for the preliminary round looks like this.

The EHF EURO 2016 takes place from 15 to 31 January 2016. The preliminary round takes place in Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw and Gdansk.
The main round will be played in Krakow and Wroclaw, and the semi-finals and the final in Krakow only.
