Summer Review 2015

Denmark's one-goal victory over Russia in the final of the Women's 17 EHF EURO in Skopje on Sunday night marked the end of a big summer of international handball action around Europe and further afield.

There were two clearly outstanding summers in the younger age category events for France and Denmark.

The upcoming generations of French men's national team players followed in the footsteps of their heroes with impressive victories at both the Junior and Youth World Championship events in Brazil and Russia. Their U17 team also tasted victory at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Georgia.

Meanwhile, the future stars of Danish women's handball completed the EHF EURO double with gold in both U17 and U19 events, beating Russia in the final on both occasions.
