Füchse Berlin start title defense against Chambery

The luck of the draw was not 100 per cent with EHF Cup defending champions Füchse Berlin, when the matches for Round 3 of the competition were drawn at the EHF Office on Tuesday.

The German Bundesliga side will face French club Chambery Savoie Handball who reached the EHF Cup Group Phase in the 2013/14 season and had been a regular guest in the VELUX EHF Champions League in the years before.

Other big match-ups of Round 3 include Rk Gorenje Velenje vs Team Tvis Holstebro; the Slovenian side reached the EHF Cup Finals this year, while the Danes were part of the inaugural Finals event in Nantes in 2013.

Bosnian club RK Borac m:tel and OCI-LIONS from the Netherlands will celebrate some kind of reunion, as both clubs already met this season in the VELUX EHF Champions League Qualification.

Round 3 matches will take place on 21/22 and 28/29 November 2015. The 16 winners qualify for the competition's group phase.
