2016 Women's EHF FINAL4 draw takes place on 15 April

The participants are not confirmed yet, but the date and the location for the draw to the 2016 Women's EHF FINAL4 already are.

Europe's best four women's teams will get to know their respective semi-final opponents on 15 April when the draw takes place in Budapest, the host city of the showpiece event.

The event starts at 11:00 hrs, with the draw itself being staged at approximately 11:30 hrs following a press conference.

Both will receive extensive coverage on the EHF Champions League's social media channels such as the @ehfcl-Twitter account and on the EHF Champions League Facebook page.

In the first leg of the quarter-finals three teams already made a bold claim for a place at the Women's EHF FINAL4, with title holders Buducnost winning 29:24 away against HCM Baia Mara, 2014 champions Györi Audi ETO KC beating FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria away 31:18 and HC Vardar demolishing Larvik 34:20 at home.

The fourth match between CSM Bucuresti and Rostov-Don ended with a 26:25 win for the Romanian side.

The return legs will take place on 9 and 10 April 2016.

This is the third consecutive year that the Women's EHF FINAL4 is being played in Budapest. In 2014 Györi Audi ETO KC won the trophy, while Buducnost topped the podium in 2015.
