Women's EHF FINAL4 2018 partners with HMD Global
EHF Marketing and the Hungarian Handball Federation, as organisers of the Women’s EHF FINAL4 2018, have reached a partner agreement with HMD Global, the Home of Nokia Phones.
The agreement sees HMD Global becoming an official event partner for the final weekend and season highlight of the Women’s EHF Champions League which takes place on 12 and 13 May in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
With the partnership HMD Global will receive floor sticker exposure as well as LED board and arena cube advertisement. The company will also be present with banner advertising on the event website, www.ehfFINAL4.com, and European handball’s own OTT platform, www.ehfTV.com.
Furthermore, HMD Global will activate the partnership with an onsite half-time activity as part of the fanTV programme at the Women’s EHF FINAL4 2018.
“Over the past years, the Women’s EHF FINAL4 has positioned itself as the pinnacle event for European women’s club handball. This positioning is bearing fruits and we are experiencing a growing interest from international businesses to use it as a platform to communicate and promote their brand,” says David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing.
“We are looking very much forward to welcoming HMD Global and working with them at the Women’s EHF FINAL4 2018 in Budapest,” adds Szlezak.
“HMD Global is very pleased and exited about this partnership with the European women’s club handball. Innovation and reliability are important in team sports, our customers could rely on their Nokia phones like the members of the handball team could rely on each other.
"We are happily participating in such a great event like Women’s EHF FINAL4 2018, where we can see realising similar goals like ours: the intention for the pure competition is like the use of the latest and always up-to-date and secure Android. With our partnership we want to highlight the importance of training and encourage to have real experiences," says Tomislav Himbele the Head of Marketing East Europe.
