All-French tie to open VELUX EHF FINAL4
Just hours after the draw for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2018 was conducted on Wednesday, the playing order for the semi-finals in the LANXESS arena in Cologne has been confirmed.
In their third straight appearance at the event, last year’s runners-up Paris Saint-Germain Handball will face fellow French side HBC Nantes in the opening match of the event on Saturday, 26 May at 15:15 hrs.
After the first finalist have been determined, the second semi-final will feature the trophy holders: Macedonian defending champions HC Vardar are up against the third French side competing, Montpellier HB, at 18:00 hrs.

The playing times for Sunday, 27 May, will be identical with the 3/4 placement match starting at 15:15 hrs, followed by the final for the most coveted trophy in European club handball at 18:00 hrs.
The draw for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 took place Wednesday, 2 May, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne, the official team hotel for the event since 2013. While the pairings were immediately known, the order of play has been released later in the afternoon.
Tickets on sale from Thursday, 3 May at 10:00 hrs
Handball fans still have one last chance to secure their place in the LANXESS arena. The remaining tickets from the allocation reserved for each of the four participating clubs will go on sale on Thursday, 3 May at 10:00 hrs in the official ticket shop at ehfCL.com.
Tickets are priced at €297 each and include all four matches over the weekend. Fans will be able to select their seats in the fan sections allocated to each team.
