Increased attention and online presence devoted to the MEN’S EHF Cup ahead of the group phase opener
New social media channels launched ahead of MEN'S EHF Cup Group Phase
MEN’S EHF Cup action will resume on Friday, 8 February, after two month break with new dedicated social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for European Cup competitions.
The new batch of social media channels will provide fans with near-live clips and compilations of the best moments from the MEN’S EHF Cup, alongside the latest news and features from both EHF Cup and Challenge Cup competitions.
The group phase features 16 clubs from 10 nations with a raft of interesting teams such as last season’s finalists Füchse Berlin and Saint-Raphael Var, FC Porto and three-time EHF Champions League winners THW Kiel, who will host the EHF Cup Finals on 17/18 May.

The increased interest in the EHF’s second tier competition is also reflected in international television coverage, with 15 partners set to broadcast to over 20 territories, while ehfTV.com will broadcast worldwide.

The stage is set for six weeks of group phase action and the battle to take a step closer to the MEN’S EHF Cup Finals in Kiel, Germany.
This season’s competition is the penultimate in the current format, before the EHF club competition reform, which will see this competition turn into the European Handball League with 24 teams from the 2020/21 season onwards
