EHF FINALS PREVIEW: They both know what it means to play in finals tournaments and win silverware, so something has to give in the first semi-final of the EHF European League
Two sides who know what it means to play in final tournaments and win European trophies will open the EHF Finals action in Flensburg and, for good measure, there is recent history between the two in continental competition. Back in 2014, Montpellier got the better of Füchse Berlin in the foxes’ own den at the same stage of the EHF Cup, then, two years ago, Füchse took revenge in the EHF European League quarter-finals.
Both sides are aiming to settle the score once and for all and hoping they won’t fall at the final hurdle, as both previous victors did.
