Ukraine’s last appearance at the Women's EHF EURO was in 2014, with their comeback for this edition snapping one of the longest streaks for any team waiting to return to the competition. In fact, Ukraine never missed out on qualifying for the first 11 editions of the EHF EURO and even grabbed a silver medal when the competition was hosted by neighbours Romania in 2000.
