THIS IS ME: A former successful Montenegrin player took over the national team and became one of the youngest head coaches to lead.
Suzana Lazovic has been part of Montenegro's brightest handball era, that magnificent year of 2012. The line player won the EHF Champions League Women, Women's EHF EURO and a silver medal at the Olympic Games in the space of eight months, with the second title in the top-flight competition in 2015. The silverware helped Lazovic make the transition from active playing to coaching, after she forcibly had to end her career at only 25 years old. Now, as Montenegro's youngest head coach, Lazovic is looking forward to her first major competition in a new role — Women's EHF EURO 2024.
