The schedule on Wednesday included six matches across four groups, with Spain coming from behind in Austria to win the Highlight Match 29:24. There were also wins for Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Faroe Island, and — for the first time ever in a qualifier — Belgium. The remaining matches in round 3 will be played on Thursday.
