MEDIA RELEASE: EHF Marketing, the marketing arm of the European Handball Federation (EHF), and Dyn Media today announced a multi-year licensing agreement that makes Dyn Media’s Content Desk platform the central content distribution infrastructure for all EHF club competitions across more than 30 broadcast markets.
Dyn Media’s Content Desk platform to deliver content from all EHF club competitions to media partners worldwide
First pan-European rollout of a unified content distribution infrastructure across all EHF club competitions
Enables faster, scalable and ready-to-publish content delivery for media partners across more than 30 markets
From the 2026/27 season onwards, EHF Marketing will take direct responsibility for the international media distribution of the EHF club competitions. The Dyn Media Content Desk will be an integral part of this new media and distribution setup, further expanding the existing partnership with Dyn Sport, which serves as the media rights partner for the EHF club competitions in the DACH region until 2030.
The agreement covers all EHF club competitions – the EHF Champions League, the EHF European League, and the EHF European Cup, across both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Under the agreement, EHF Marketing's media partners will access match highlights, video assets and other dedicated content directly through the Dyn Media Content Desk. The platform will also serve as a central hub for selected content contributed by clubs and other EHF club competition stakeholders, making additional behind-the-scenes stories and perspectives available to broadcasters, EHF channels and other relevant stakeholders.
The Dyn Media Content Desk is a cloud-based content management and distribution platform that enables rights holders to deliver video content, highlights and editorial assets to media partners at scale and with minimal manual effort. The platform is already in active use across Dyn’s domestic partner network in Germany, where leagues, clubs and broadcasters retrieve and redistribute content through their own channels.
By giving media partners faster and more direct access to ready-to-publish content, the new setup will simplify workflows across markets and help bring more stories around the EHF club competitions to local audiences.
With this agreement, EHF Marketing becomes the first major pan-European rights holder to distribute editorial content across its full international media partner network through a single integrated platform. Media partners across Europe and beyond, spanning more than 30 countries, will be able to access ready-to-publish content directly, covering all EHF club competitions and serving local audiences.
David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing:
"Taking direct responsibility for the international media distribution of our club competitions also means rethinking how we service our broadcast partners, clubs, and players. The Dyn Media Content Desk gives us the infrastructure to make content available faster, more centrally and more flexibly across different markets and platforms. This is an important part of our new setup – together with Dyn Media, we are creating a more efficient distribution ecosystem that helps our partners tell the stories of European club handball in their respective markets."
Andreas Heyden, CEO of Dyn:
"International visibility in handball is no longer built on rights alone. It is built on infrastructure. Making content from all EHF club competitions available to media partners in over 30 countries through a single platform – that is what turns broadcast reach into genuine editorial presence. This agreement is a milestone for how European handball content travels."
The multi-year agreement takes effect immediately. Content will be available to EHF-accredited media partners through the Dyn Media Content Desk portal across all three EHF club competition tiers.
